Privacy Notice

How we collect, use and protect the information you share with us — especially information about children.

This notice is a template aligned with the website blueprint. Please have it reviewed against the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), the Indian DPDP framework where applicable, and any other relevant regulations before launch.

1. Who we are

Atlas International School, Dammam, Saudi Arabia (“the School”) is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Contact: info@atlas-school.example.

2. What we collect

Admission registrations: student name, date of birth, gender, nationality, class applied for, previous school; parent / guardian name, relationship, contact numbers, email and address; sibling, transport and enquiry-source details.
Enquiries: name, contact details and the content of your message; for transport enquiries, locality and nearest landmark.
Technical data: limited server logs (e.g. IP address) for security and abuse prevention.

We collect only what is needed for each purpose. We do not ask for documents through the public registration form.

3. Why we use it

To process admission registrations and respond to enquiries
To assess eligibility, schedule visits / interactions and communicate decisions
To plan transport routes and allocations
To keep the website secure and prevent misuse

4. Sharing

Information is accessed only by authorised school staff (e.g. admissions and transport teams) on a need-to-know basis. We do not sell personal data. We may share information where required by law or with service providers bound by confidentiality who help us operate our systems.

5. Retention & deletion

Registration data for applicants who do not enrol is retained for [retention period] and then securely deleted. Data for enrolled students is transferred to the student record and governed by the school's records policy.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, restricted storage and audit procedures to protect your information.

7. Children's data

Registrations for children must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, who confirms their authority to do so. We never publish student records, private photographs or live transport locations.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or withdraw consent, by contacting admissions@atlas-school.example.
